WITS will be closed from May 1st to May 31st for warehouse inventory. We will not be accepting any drop offs or scheduling any pickups during that time. We will be still holding our sites or events. For more information call (314) 382-1650
Our computer store, tech repair shop, electronics store, and main office will still be open.
Also, our regular monthly sites, events and community arts programs will continue to operate as as scheduled.
Welcome to Wits
WITS now accepts all sizes of reusable clothes, shoes, toys and baby items to donate to IRS-approved families. These families need a hand up while getting their lives back on track. These items are accepted at all of our drop-off sites and permanent facilities. Please put them in tubs/boxes or bags. Other household items are accepted including dishes and silverware but must be packed safely.
Wits, Inc., is proud to partner with local schools "Green" Program to host an Electronics/Computer/Battery recycling competition. To have your school participate please contact WIts at 314-382-1650.

- In 2011, Wits reused over 32,000 computers and other electronics back into needy communities.
- In 2011, Wits donated 300 computers for the holidays.
- Wits is commited to and holds itself to all R2 certification standards and is currently in the process of becoming R2 certified.
- Over 8,000 volunteers and residents have helped promote, support or donated to our programs.
- In 2011, over 7.8 million lbs. diverted from landfills and waste streams making a total of 35.5 million lbs. since 2004.
- 78% reusable and put back into other uses to save on natural resources.
- 22% demanufactured safely at OUR facility to make sure it's handled 100% appropriately and sent for new product use.
- Over 100 men and women were hired/trained through our programs or at our facility.
- 12,500 low-income men and women have volunteered to earn a computer, TV or other working electronics.
