YOUTH PROGRAMS - St. Louis, MO

Laptops are available at this time for two groups of youth participants:

Youth/Teen Program:

High School Juniors/Seniors ages 16-18 on lunch or low-income programs who have been accepted into a College or University and maintain a B+ average or better for at least one year are eligible to apply to our Youth/Teen Program. All of the following are required:

      1. Proof of achievement.
      2. Letter from student or parent "nominating" the child - tell us their story.
      3. Proof of low-income status.
      4. Proof of college acceptance or course sheet.
      5. Proof of age/grade.

Kids with Kancer Program:

Thanks to Boeing, WITS can offer laptops to terminally and chronically ill children. WITS donates one laptop per month to a child in need. Children ages 8-18 who are chronically ill and spend most of their days in the hospital or home in bed due to illness are eligible to apply to our Kids with Kancer Program. All of the following are required:

      1. Proof of low-income status for child.
      2. Letter from physician on letterhead as to condition of illness of child and reason for needing a laptop.
      3. Letter from child/parent telling their story of need.
